These terms explain how a bespoke jewellery commission with L’Atelier Sater works. Your approved design, quotation and payment schedule form part of the agreement for your individual commission.
L'Atelier Sater trades as L’Atelier Sater.
Registered address: 1 North Bridge Road #21-05, Singapore 179094.
Questions about these terms can be sent to charlie@sater.sg.
You share an idea, image or story and we prepare initial design sketches. Those sketches are exploratory: nothing enters production until you approve the final specification, selected stone, price and payment schedule in writing.
If you request a material change after approval, we will first confirm any revised specification, timing or price for you to accept.
We disclose the information available for each proposed stone before approval. For diamonds above 0.25 ct, we can usually obtain a GIA grading report. Coloured precious stones are supplied with an authenticity report where one is available. The exact laboratory, report and origin or treatment information available will be shown with the individual stone.
Fully refundable until you approve the final design; then credited to your first payment.
The price locks at approval and never rises. That lock applies to the approved specification.
Your commission summary shows the currency, payment stages and amounts due. Payment-card processing is handled by Stripe; full card details do not reach our servers.
Your deposit is fully refundable until you approve the final design. After approval, sourcing and production commitments begin. A later cancellation is subject to written agreement, and we may retain amounts that reasonably cover completed work and non-recoverable materials, with the calculation explained to you.
Your written quotation states what is included in the price. Unless it expressly says otherwise, import duties, destination taxes, customs charges and courier clearance fees are the recipient’s responsibility and may be collected before or on delivery.
Delivery timing is an estimate until dispatch. We will keep you informed if sourcing, production, customs or carrier conditions materially affect it.
Please contact us promptly if a delivered piece is damaged, defective or does not match the approved specification. We will assess the issue and provide the repair, replacement or other remedy required by applicable law. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
These terms and each commission are governed by the laws of Singapore, and disputes are subject to the courts of Singapore. This does not remove any mandatory consumer rights that apply in your country of residence.
